The first document below is a lesson I taught to my peers toward the beginning of the semester. This lesson was centered around teaching one of the strategies from the book, Making Thinking Visible by Karen Morrison, Mark Church, and Ron Ritchhart. The strategy I chose was CEC, which stands for connect, extend, challenge. These pedagogical methods contributed to an arsenal of tools when approaching my content area. I presented on one method in particular, but I listened to the presentations of others. In the second document below, I write about a reflection of my lesson as well as a reflection on another strategy that resonated with me.
